The proposed site for BIAT is centrally located in Pakistan approximately
at 28 degree North and 69 degree East. The site lies on the edge of the desert. The
national highway and the main railway corridors pass through Bahawalpur. It is
also served by Air. The region has a rich heritage of architecture,
culture and natural landscape.
The site will have four accesses. The distance from
the Bahawalpur Railway Station as well as its Bus Terminal is 8 kilometer.
From the Bahawalpur Airport it is at a distance of about 6 kilometer. When
completed it shall be served by quality access roads, from
four directions as shown on the map below.
